The Norfolk County Sports Hall of Recognition has been around for a quarter of a century, and they’re pretty excited about it.
On Sunday, the Hall will be hosting a 25th Anniversary celebration at the Simcoe Rec Centre, allowing members of the public to celebrate with them before they settle in to watch the Grey Cup that evening.
The event will take place between 1 and 4 at the rec centre, with a free swim at the Annaleise Carr Aquatic Centre between 1:30 and 2:30 and a free skate between 3 and 4.
The Hall will also be offering an opportunity to nominate local sports figures who are deserving of recognition, as well as answering any questions the public may have about the hall itself.
