Port Rowan’s Bayfest kicks off today (Friday) and will include three days of awesome activities!
Bayfest is held every year, the annual Labour Day celebration has run for more than 30 years.
Originally named Tomato Fest, the event rebranded to Bayfest back in 2001.
This year, there will be plenty of things for both the young and the young-at-heart to enjoy.
A midway, rides, great food, vendors and other entertainment can be found down by the waterfront and in town.
Nearby Long Point will be home to several other fun events including build-a-boat races, hula-hoop contests, a plastic frog toss, and a soap-box derby.
Sunday will have the Bayfest Parade, beginning at 2 p.m., and later at night Bayfest will wrap up with fireworks.
