Norfolk County continued their move-making today parting ways with former General Manager of Employee and Corporate Services Yakov Sluchenkov.
The move was announced today in a media release from Mayor Kristal Chopp who says she wishes to thank Mr. Sluchenkov for his service at the County and that she wishes him well in his future endeavors.
She says the move comes as the County combines the Financial Services Division and Employee and Corporate Services Division into one Corporate Services and Treasury Division.
Chopp says the move is an important step in “streamlining the corporation and consolidating these key service areas.”
Yesterday the County announced that Treasurer James Johnson had been let go and that Chris McQueen has been appointed as Interim Chief Administrative Officer.
