Ontario is pushing hard to tear down trade walls within Canada.
That was Premier Doug Ford yesterday as his government introduced legislation to loosen restrictions and signed agreements with Nova Scotia and New Brunswick recognizing each other’s goods and workers.
Ontario’s also launching a $50-million fund to help businesses tackle the fallout from U.S. tariffs and expand interprovincially.
Ford is urging all provinces and territories to get on board.
