Three major organizations-Ontario Chamber of Commerce, Council of Ontario Universities, and Colleges Ontario-are calling on the provincial government to boost post-secondary funding.
In an open letter to Ontario’s finance and colleges/universities ministers, the groups highlighted the need for increased operating budgets, expanded enrolment funding, and stronger research partnerships.
They argue that economic uncertainty makes talent development, upskilling, and investment in higher education more critical than ever.
