Yesterday, Southwestern Public Health and Grand Erie Public Health hosted a media briefing to provide an update on the measles outbreak in the region.
That was Dr. Ninh Tran
He said it is a good time to put out a reminder that if you are not feeling well, stay home, especially if you are not up to date on your vaccinations.
Tran said if your child does not have the required shows, these rising cases is not something should ignore.
Right now, there are 82 confirmed cases within Grand Erie Public Health and 18 probable cases.
Ninh added this does not fully capture the picture of the issue, as the health unit’s believe there are many more cases out there going unreported.
