Premier Doug Ford famously told Bobbi Ann Brady during legislature that she would be out of a job at the next election.
He was wrong.
Brady picked up a landslide win Thursday night, getting over 14000 more votes than all the other local candidates combined.
That was Brady, giving her acceptance speech in Simcoe.
Brady will continue to sit as Ontario’s only Independent MPP.
Brady called this a personal election, where he integrity felt under attack, but the support of the community got her through.
She plans on paying back this trust with hard work.
