The measles outbreak continues.
Grand Erie Public Health (GEPH) is investigating 15 additional confirmed cases of measles in Norfolk County.
There are currently 37 confirmed cases (five adults and 32 children) in the Grand Erie region, which includes Haldimand County, Norfolk County, Brantford, and County of Brant.
The infection sources of the new cases are linked to previous exposures.
At this time, the investigation has determined that those at the following locations may have been exposed to the measles virus:
- Houghton Public School, RR #5, Langton, Feb. 3-5, 2025, from 8:30 a.m. to 5:05 p.m.
- Delhi Community Health Centre Walk-In Clinic and Pharmasave, 105 Main St. Delhi, Feb. 8, 2025, from 9:00 a.m. to noon.
- Walsingham Christian School, 6th Concession Rd., Walsingham, Jan. 24, 30-31 and Feb. 3, 2025, from 8:00 a.m. to 5 p.m.
- Norfolk General Hospital, Emergency Department, 365 W St. Simcoe, Feb. 7, 2025, from 3 p.m. to 5:35 p.m.
