CFIB talks about what Canada can do to help small business during this “trade war”

A 25 per cent tariff on all Canadian goods is coming into affect.

We spoke with Julie Kwiecinski, the Canadian Federation of Independent Business’ Ontario director of provincial affairs, who said if the government wants to help level the playing field, look internally.

Another way to help out Canadian businesses during a “trade war” is to make life easier, not harder – aka cut the red tape.

We also spoke with Kwiecinki about the upcoming Provincial election, and things small businesses want to see happen after voters go to the polls on February 27th.
