The Norfolk County Fire Department wants to start off 2025 on the right foot by tackling one of the most common calls they respond to.
Fire Prevention Officer Cory Armstrong-Smith with the Norfolk County Fire Department says cooking fires continue to be an issue.
One way to make sure that happens is to make sure you are cooking with a clear mind and not intoxicated.
Of course, not all kitchen fires are connected to being impaired.
Sometimes, the water is just taking forever to boil and you just want to run into the other room “just for a second.”
Long story short, if you are hosting and cooking it your task then keep a clear head and your mind on task.
