The Brant Haldimand Norfolk Catholic District School Board (BHNCDSB) is launching Grade 9 Technological Education courses through after-school and night school programs. The new courses will start in February during the second semester of the 2024-25 school year. These classes will help students meet the Ministry of Education’s new requirement for a Grade 9 or 10 Technological Education credit, starting with students who enter Grade 9 in September 2024.
The program allows students to earn their credit outside regular school hours, giving them more options to explore subjects without replacing other courses in their schedule.
Families and future Grade 9 students can learn more about BHNCDSB’s After-Hours Technological Education Credits at an open house this week. Holy Trinity Catholic High School in Simcoe will host its event on Thursday, January 16th, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. Students can explore course options and register through MyBlueprint.
