The Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice has received a generous $4,000 donation from the Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise. This contribution will fund new signage for the hospice’s capital campaign, which aims to raise awareness and support for building a dedicated hospice facility in Norfolk County.
“We are deeply grateful for this support,” said Andrea Binkle, Executive Director of the Norfolk Haldimand Community Hospice. “This donation helps us provide compassionate care and move closer to our vision.”
The Rotary Club of Norfolk Sunrise has a long history of supporting community initiatives. Co-President Ross Gowan emphasized their pride in contributing to the hospice’s mission of providing vital care and comfort to local families.
In 2024, the hospice has expanded its programs, grown its volunteer base, and made progress toward its goals. As the year comes to a close, community members are encouraged to donate or volunteer to help make the dream of a dedicated hospice a reality.
