A big crowd showed up the 2nd Annual Luke Johnson Teddy Bears for Hope game yesterday in Port Dover.
A special ceremony took place to honour Luke and retire his #2 jersey from Port Dover Minor Hockey.
Luke’s #2 banner now hangs high in the Shipyard as well.
The Port Dover Sailors lost in overtime 7-6 to the Glanbrook Rangers.
Sailors Captain Tyler Matthews scored the opening goal and the Teddy Bears rained down on the ice for charity.
You can see a video of that goal here.
