A Listeria outbreak linked to plant-based milk seems to be over.
The Public Health Agency of Canada says no additional cases have been reported since August after Silk and Great Value plant-based refrigerated beverages were recalled in July.
The number of cases reported has remained unchanged with 20 confirmed infections in Ontario, Nova Scotia, Quebec and Alberta — and three deaths.
The federal agency says production at the Pickering, Ontario facility where the contamination was found will remain closed until the Canadian Food Inspection Agency is satisfied with renovations to the facility.
