Rodeo events often bring together communities, fostering a sense of camaraderie and local pride. Everyone was in great spirits and Krista Timmermans said they received a lot of feedback from out-of-town guests, on how great the people of Norfolk are.
Timmermans told us the Rodeo grew again this year, seeing record numbers walking through the gates.
The organizers made a difficult decision this year to leave the Ram Rodeo tour and join the Rawhide Rodeo Tour. A choice that seems to have paid off.
The Rodeo did receive feedback on ways to improve from staff, volunteers and guests. Timmermans mentioned that they are working their way through all the feedback they received.
Norfolk Today asked Timmermans if their were any highlights from this years Rodeo? She mentioned the entertainment, acts like Jason Blaine where a very big step for the Rodeo this year.
Rodeos are exciting for their blend of sport, culture, and entertainment. The Norfolk Pro Rodeo was a thrilling experience for spectators of all ages. This has clearly become an iconic event for the community. See you next year!
