An application has been submitted to the county to rezone and develop three residential lots located at the corner of Norfolk Street South and Decou Road, across from White Horse Plaza.
The proposed development would feature a mixed zoning of commercial and residential spaces, including a building with retail units on the ground floor and 42 one- and two-bedroom residential units above.
Today, our elected officials held a Public Hearing Committee where numerous residents expressed their concerns about the plan, primarily focusing on safety at the intersection.
Further reports are expected, and Council will revisit the issue in the fall.
