Haldimand and Norfolk showing their support for the #5toSurvive campaign.
This is province wide campaign that is going on right now across Ontario looking for a base funding increase for developmental services.
That was Patricia Morris, Executive Director of Community Living Access going over the key issue.
She says this lack of money will continue to have an impact unless something is changed.
Residents were encouraged to write to their MPP’s about this, and as Haldimand-Norfolk MPP Bobbi Ann Brady can reveal – local residents did just that.
Brady is not surprised by this support.
She is in full support of this base level increase of 5 per cent, and plans to keep a close eye on the budget.
