It’s a show about a show, and people really love it.
Filming for the third season of ‘Dean & Jean Make a Cooking Show’ has now wrapped, and we spoke to the husband-and-wife duo behind the magic, Dean Rainey and chef Nuchjana ‘Jean’ Guntong, about how they were able to do a spinoff from their other popular show, Try Thai Tonight.
Dean is also very upfront about what this show is all about.
Having a show about behind the scenes of a cooking show is interesting enough, but when you throw in the dynamic of Dean producing and Jean being the on-screen cook – a married couple who don’t just “break” when the director yells “cut” – it brings it to a whole new level.
Dean also had a very specific example top of mind of how this dynamic could cause some drama.
At the end of the day, for Jean, she is just happy that she is able to bring her delicious recipes to the community – even if there are some hijinks along the way.
‘Dean & Jean Make a Cooking Show’ will be airing this Spring 2024 on Bell Fibe TV1.
Viewers who are new to the series can catch up now with seasons one and two on Bell Fibe TV1 On Demand or on the Bell Fibe App.
