The Agricultural Society recently released more names of big winners at the Norfolk County Fair and Horse Show.
This year’s winner of the Jr. Fair Youth Grand Champion Award for the most points in the Junior Fair is Aida Anderson of St. Williams.
The Jr. Youth Reserve Grand Champion Award goes to Olivia Hazen of Wilsonville.
The Kiddie Korner winner was Hannah Kekes of Waterford, who was awarded the Eta Zeta Chapter Trophy. This trophy is given to preschoolers under the age of five who earn the most points in that category.
Simcoe Composite High School was presented with the “Ruth Gundry Memorial Award.” This is a new cash award of $100 for the most points in the Art Division of the Junior Fair Department.
The “Johnny Appleseed Trophy,” presented in memory of the late John Cooper, went to William Hedges of Vanessa for his 2023 display theme: “Life in the Orchard.”
The Joan L. Cleaver award was presented to Mariah Alblas of La Salette.
