Watching her sister grow up in gymnastics helped Macy Begin get into the sport.
The 17-year-old started with the Simcoe Gliders when she entered high school.
She said she tried the sport out when she was really young, but came back to it at a later age.
Getting to spend time with kids and help them grow their skills is a large part of why Begin continues to coach.
The younger kids, aged three to five, are her favourite to work with because she said they enjoy everything.
The gratification of watching her students improve keeps her coming back.
Begin said coaching gymnastics is a great job, and encourages anyone considering it to go for it.
