Norfolk County Council heard an update on the Comprehensive Parking Study earlier this week.
Irene Hauzer, representing LEA Consulting Ltd., spoke to the group earlier this week to discuss their findings so far.
They held a public consultation meeting, which was attended by 16 people, including business owners, BIA representatives, county staff, and members of the general public.
The most commonly mentioned topics include reducing parking time limits, increasing parking enforcement, introducing parking permits, concerns with illegal parking, and increasing parking rates or fees.
A parking utilization survey was completed earlier this month.
Throughout the rest of this summer and into fall LEA will be looking into parking management options, and on-street and off-street parking policy options.
They will then return to council with their final presentation in fall or winter of this year.
