A good update from the Port Dover beach.
Norfolk County council has reached an agreement with businesses who own most of the beach visitors know and love and a four year lease is in the process of being finalized.
A bylaw, passed on Tuesday – which NorfolkToday covered – goes over all the reasons someone could get fined $75 while on the beach from using a BBQ, to leaving garbage, to bringing a pet.
Postings are already up on various job sites looking for individuals to fill in an 8 week contract.
These individuals must be able to work every weekend and on holidays.
Once the agreement is finalized, we will provide you with an update.
