Tryouts for the Norfolk Knights are coming up.
On our website right now is a link of the dates and times for the tryouts.
All players must sign-up and pay the $75 fee in advance of the first tryout date.
It notes online that with Hagersville Minor Hockey joining Haldimand Minor Hockey, former Hagersville players who are “Right of Choice” between Norfolk and Haldimand can select either association as their new home centre.
To determine if you are a “Right of Choice” player, determine the following (using Google Maps, etc):
1) The driving distance from your residence to Norfolk centre point (2559 Hwy 24, Simcoe – at the intersection of Hwy 24 and Harmony Road)
2) The driving distance from your residence to Haldimand’s centre point (Cayuga Golf Course).
If the difference between these distances is 8km or less, you have the option to select Norfolk as your home centre.
