The Routes To Roots Film Festival is back and earlier than normal!
The festival highlights unique films with the red carpet rolling out next month.
That was Jim Carrol speaking to us at The Strand.
There is a wide variety of films, from the Oscar winning Everything Everywhere All At Once to short films and documentaries.
The goal of the festival is to show films on the big screen that you would likely not be able to see anywhere else, while also giving you unique insight.
The event runs over the course three days from Friday May 5th to Sunday May 7th.
The hope is people will come out for the films, and then stick around and enjoy the town after.
Tickets are on sale at the theatre right now.
