Norfolk County was well represented at the Ontario Minor Hockey Association finals.
The Norfolk Knights Minor Hockey organization had six teams make it to the finals, including the U16A team finishing second place overall.
Jason Mychajluk, head coach of that U16A team, was proud of the work they put in all season.
The U16A team came home with two gold and two silver medals from their four tournaments this season, claiming the title of Niagara District Hockey League Champions.
They had a 49-13-3 record on the season.
Mychajluk said that record is a testament to the hard work the team put in throughout the season.
The head coach thanked those that supported the team.
He extended the gratitude to Norfolk Minor Hockey as a whole.
Tryouts for Norfolk Knights U18 will be held in the Fall, while tryouts across all other age groups begin very soon in early May and registration is open.
