Norfolk General Hospital has a new permanent chief of staff.
The hospital board’s decision to go with Dr. Martin-Godelie was unanimous.
The board says Martin-Godelie brings all of the qualifications that any hospital would want in this key leadership role.
Her focus will be to drive forward the highest quality of healthcare services to residents in the communities Norfolk General serves.
Dr. Martin-Godelie has served as a physician at Norfolk General Hospital since 2005. She has also served as Vice-President of the hospital’s Medical Staff Association and is the Chair of the Medical Quality Committee.
