It is going to be a hot day in Norfolk.
A heat warning is in effect for today going into Thursday.
Daytime high temperatures are expected to reach 30 degrees Celsius today, beginning this afternoon.
The Humidex values for today is what will make it the hottest day so far this year in Norfolk, as it will feel like 41 degrees locally.
Overnight low temperatures are expected to only drop to 22 degrees Celsius, providing little relief from the heat.
Hot and humid conditions will persist into Thursday, however, there may be some relief if we received showers and thunderstorms.
At this time, there is a 40 per cent chance of showers tomorrow in Norfolk – though that could easily change.
Conditions will improve Thursday evening.
