Due to rising case numbers, only Designated Visitors will be allowed to enter the Norfolk General Hospital.
In a release from the hospital, they say they are dealing with the 6th wave of COVID-19 in Haldimand-Norfolk and that there has been a significant increase in the number of COVID-19 cases among the local population.
It goes on to say that in order to protect the safety of staff, physicians, patients, clients, visitors, and the vulnerable health care system, these new restrictions will be in place that will see patients designate up to four visitors.
However, patients can only have one visitor at their bedside at a time.
