Holmes House in Simcoe is currently recruiting new staff to get the local facility back up and running.
Holmes House continues to provide its 21-day treatment program off-site as well as its counselling services but staffing issues has caused the Withdrawal Management Program at Holmes House to remain temporarily closed.
Officials at Norfolk General Hospital assure the public that this is an essential service to the community and they do not have any plans of ending it.
Behind the scenes, they say the are doing everything possible to re-open the Withdrawal Management Program as soon as possible.
