Almost all residents in local long term care homes are vaccinated, but only about 68 per cent of the staff working in the homes have got the shot.

Page said they are working to educate the health care population on the outcome of receiving the vaccine.

These rules came into place on July 1st and are anticipated to impact the vaccination rates of the staff.
There are currently no rules in place for hospitals to report if their staff is vaccinated.
