The COVID-19 pandemic has put a lot on the entire corporate services department of Norfolk County.
Shelley Darlington, general manager of the department, has had to take on new roles throughout the year, including looking after logistics for the emergency control group.
Logistics surrounding the Haldimand Norfolk Health Unit, customer service, PPE inventory control group, and county operations have been a large part of the role this year.
Darlington, when asked what her proudest moment was since the beginning of the pandemic, said working with her team to ensure the health unit was fully prepared.
When asked if there was anyone on her team she would like to shout out as a big help, she began listing every department as each has had their own part to ensuring everything was running properly.
