Haldimand County had two new councillors.
In Ward 1, it was a tight race but Deb McKeen got the seat, securing 944 votes, just 18 votes more than fellow candidate Brian Doyle.
In Ward 4, it was a landslide victory for Brad Adams.
He received 1508 votes, more than double of the closest other candidate Tony Dalimonte who received 711.
The official voter turnout for the Wards 1 & 4 By-election was 34.6%, a significant increase in voter turnout compared to 24.7% in the 2023 Ward 4 by-election.
