Voters in Haldimand County’s Wards 1 and 4 head to the polls today, Thursday, April 10, to elect new councillors.
Voting is open from 10 a.m. to 8 p.m. at two locations: the Hagersville Arena (Almas Room) and the Jarvis Community Centre.
This byelection was called to fill vacancies in the two wards after previous councillors passed away.
The results of the vote are expected to be announced later tonight after polls close.
The new councillors will represent their wards on key local issues, including development, infrastructure, and public services.
