
Brantford Police have arrested Bradley George Saunders, wanted for second-degree murder. The arrest happened around 10:12 p.m. on Friday, April 4th, near Queen Street and Darling Street, after a short foot chase.
Police say Saunders was taken into custody thanks to the teamwork of multiple units, including the Criminal Intelligence Unit, Drug and Firearm Enforcement Unit, Emergency Response Team, and Uniform Patrol. During the arrest, officers also found suspected crystal meth on Saunders.
The Forensic Identification Unit is still processing evidence as the investigation continues.
Saunders remains in custody and is awaiting a bail hearing. He faces three charges:
- Second-degree murder
- Breach of probation
- Possession of crystal meth
