Fiona Macaulay - Norfolk Hearing Clinic
Norfolk Hearing Clinic has expanded its services with the opening of a new location at 185 Robinson Street in Simcoe.
This third location joins existing clinics in Port Dover and Port Rowan, offering residents more convenient access to professional hearing care.
Clinic owner and hearing specialist, Fiona Macaulay, had worked in Simcoe prior to owning her own clinic. She saw the need for a local location after many of her long-time patients traveled to receive care.
The new location offers a full range of hearing health services, including hearing assessments, hearing aid fittings, tinnitus management, and cerumen (earwax) removal.
Unlike other healthcare services, hearing tests do not require a referral and are provided free of charge. Regular hearing checkups are recommended, and Macaulay says it’s especially recommended for those over 50.
She added the clinic works with WSIB, ODSP, INHB, and Veterans Affairs, ensuring coverage for eligible patients. Also, the Simcoe clinic is part of a growing health hub, located in the same building as the Norfolk Family Health Team, making it easy for patients to receive referrals when needed.
Macauley expressed a great deal of gratitude for how loyal the community has been to her clinic. She hopes that having multiple locations is a convenience for her current and future clients.
