
In the first two weeks of Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) West Region’s “Stay Focused” campaign, nearly 150 drivers have been charged.
The initiative aims to reduce fatalities and injuries caused by distracted driving on Ontario’s roads and highways.
Since its launch on March 1st, officers from OPP West Region, along with the West Region Traffic Incident Management and Enforcement (TIME) team, have issued 146 charges under Ontario’s distracted driving law.

The “Stay Focused” campaign will run until April 4th.
