
Norfolk County OPP is urging residents to lock their vehicles and remove valuables after recent break-in attempts in Simcoe and Port Dover.
Thieves are targeting both locked and unlocked cars.

On Saturday evening, OPP investigated a report of an unidentified individual attempting to access a locked vehicle on Chapel Street in Simcoe.
It was determined that the vehicle was neither entered nor damaged.
At 8:15 a.m. on Monday, OPP investigated a similar incident on Galinee Trail in Port Dover.
It was determined that sometime overnight, one or more unidentified individuals broke into a locked vehicle, damaging its exterior.
No items were reported stolen.
