
A 34-year-old Norfolk County resident has been charged with two counts of criminal harassment following an investigation by the Ontario Provincial Police (OPP).
The charges relate to incidents that occurred between February and March 2025, where the victim was reportedly subjected to persistent unwanted electronic messages and was followed to multiple locations across the county.
The Norfolk County OPP Detachment launched the investigation on March 10, responding to concerns about intimate partner violence and harassment.
The accused was taken into custody without incident and faces charges of criminal harassment – repeatedly communicate and criminal harassment – repeatedly follow.
Victims of harassment or intimate partner violence are encouraged to seek help and contact police.
