The Port Dover Lions Club has received a generous $2,000 sponsorship from Branch #158 of the Port Dover Legion. Jay MacDonald, Poppy Chair for the Legion, presented the cheque to Alan Strang, Marketing and Communications Chair for the Lions.
“It’s tremendous community support like this sponsorship that goes a long way to make the Lions Canada Day celebrations the successful event that it is every year,” Strang said.
The Port Dover Lions Club plays a key role in organizing the town’s popular Canada Day festivities, which attract thousands of visitors each year. The sponsorship from the Legion will help ensure the event remains a success.
