
Holy Trinity wins junior championship
The Holy Trinity Titans, junior volleyball team turned out the lights on the Delhi Raiders (10-4), winning 3-1 and keeping their undefeated season alive. With captain Izzy Girard (#10) leading the charge alongside Karys Hillis (#15), the Titans punched their ticket to CWOSSA. Girard, in their first year with Holy Trinity, called the season fun and was thrilled with the championship win.
On the senior side, the Delhi Raiders (12-2) ran it back like a remix, defeating Simcoe Composite (12-2) to claim back-to-back titles.
Boys’ basketball brought its own fireworks. The junior Simcoe Sabres (7-3) after an extremely close game against Delhi (10-0) took the trophy with a 52-51 win. In senior action, the Titans tightened their grip on perfection, after going face to face with the Sabres (8-2) 53-40 to stay undefeated.
With volleyball and basketball titles in the books for 2025, Holy Trinity and Delhi are dancing into the next rounds with momentum.
