Our two month tax holiday is almost over.
Tomorrow (Feb 15th) marks the end of the federal government’s GST/HST holiday…where we weren’t paying tax on restaurant meals, prepared foods, lots of snacks, some booze, children’s wear…and many other products.
The break started December 14th.
It could take time before the economic benefits of the tax break can be accurately measured.
