Two people have been arrested following a violent home invasion in Simcoe.
Yesterday (Feb5th), around 4:00 am, Norfolk County OPP responded to a break-in on Nixon Road. A group of four to five suspects forced their way into a home, confronted three occupants, and assaulted one person, who suffered minor injuries. The suspects fled, some in a white van.
Minutes later, police stopped a van matching the description on Windham Road 14. Two suspects were arrested without incident.
Trevor McCrossan, 26, of Richmond Hill, and Diana Buvehall, 41, of Kingston, face multiple charges, including break and enter and three counts of robbery with a firearm. They remain in custody, awaiting a bail hearing.
