A fire that destroyed Burger Barn last week is now being investigated as arson, according to the owners.
The fire broke out at 3:30 AM on January 27.
In a post online, the owners say this incident follows a drive-by shooting at the restaurant two days earlier.
On January 25, around 2:30 AM, bullets struck the outdoor glass vestibule.
Both the fire and shooting remain under active investigation by Six Nations Police.
Burger Barn, a well-known restaurant in Six Nations, had operated for 14 years with a staff of 60.
The owners, Jason and Celeste Hill, have thanked the community for its support and confirmed plans to rebuild.
Anyone with information is asked to contact Six Nations Police at 519-445-2811.
