The Norfolk County Agricultural Society (NCAS) held its Annual General Meeting on January 25 at the Junior Farmers Building. The event focused on financial updates, board elections, and recognizing outstanding contributions.
Dan Taylor was elected President for the 185th year of the NCAS, with Molly MacDowall as 1st Vice President and Mark Jacobs as 2nd Vice President. The Board also welcomed three new members: Megan Allen, Sherri Kowtaluk, and Steve Mallon.
The meeting highlighted a successful 2024 and honored several award recipients, including Nova Mutual Insurance, Chris Mullin, Bryan’s Dixie Dogs, Delores Tchorek, and Dianne Persall.
NCAS looks ahead to a busy 2025, with preparations underway for Eat & Drink Norfolk (April 3-5) and the Norfolk County Fair & Horse Show (October 7-13). More event announcements are coming soon. Follow NCAS on social media or sign up for updates here.
