Police are reporting two break and enters – one with an arrest made and another still under investigation.
On Monday, police arrested three individuals they say broke into a business on Norfolk Street South, with officers arrested the trio on site and seizing illicit drugs and cash in the process.
Those arrested and the charges laid can be found below.
Also on Monday, officers were sent to an attempted break-and-enter on Windham Road 2 in Scotland as they say sometime overnight someone attempted to forcibly enter a workshop on the property, causing damage to its exterior.

36-year-old Kirbie WAMSLEY from Haldimand County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – opioid (other than heroin),
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – methylenedioxyamphetamine (ecstasy)
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
45-year-old Zachariah SOLOMON from Six Nations of the Grand River First Nation has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance – other drugs.
The accused is scheduled to appear at the Ontario Court of Justice in Simcoe on Tuesday, February 11, 2025.
47-year-old Jason BALCOMB from Norfolk County has been charged with the following alleged offences:
- Break, enter a place – commit indictable offence,
- Possession of a Schedule I substance for the purpose of trafficking – opioid (other than heroin),
- Possession of proceeds of property obtained by crime – under $5,000 (in Canada),
- Fail to comply with Probation Order.
