The Holy Trinity Titans put on a basketball clinic yesterday, dominating the Valley Heights Bears in both junior and senior matchups.
The junior Titans (3-3) clawed their way to a convincing 60-30 win over the junior Bears (0-6).
But the real thunder struck when the senior Titans (6-0) unleashed a scoring storm, hammering the Bears (0-6) 80-48. Nerraud Thomas was unstoppable, leading the Titans with a flurry of baskets, while Joel Driedger kept the Bears in the fight as their top scorer.
With the final weeks of high school boys’ basketball heating up, teams have their sights on February playoffs. In the junior division, Delhi leads the charge, with Dunnville and Simcoe in close pursuit. On the senior side, the Titans remain undefeated at the top, with Simcoe holding steady in second place.
