Between 2018 and 2022, fatalities involving three or more drugs surged by 186%.
Opioids, especially illicit fentanyl, contributed to 84% of overdose deaths, while stimulants were involved in 62%. The report underscores the urgent need for targeted interventions to address this escalating crisis.
