Trump doubles down on Canada becoming the 51st state saying US could use economic force

President Elect Donald Trump once again pushing for Canada to join the US.

A press conference Tuesday, he asked if he would use military force like he has suggested he could do for parts of Greenland.

Trump said they are losing over $200 billion a year to protect Canada, but there is nothing Canada is offering that they can’t supply themselves.

On social media, outgoing Prime Minister Justin Trudeau responded to this saying “There isn’t a snowball’s chance in hell that Canada would become part of the United States.”
