A significant new development proposal for Woodway Trails in Simcoe will be discussed at the Norfolk County Council meeting on Tuesday.
The application seeks approval for a Draft Plan of Subdivision and a Zoning By-Law Amendment to facilitate the creation of over 356 residential units.
The plan includes:
140 single-detached dwellings
196 street townhouses
20 semi-detached homes
Three condominium blocks for mid-rise apartment or townhouse developments
The applicant is requesting a Zoning By-Law amendment to rezone the subject lands from “Development Zone” to various Urban Residential Zones (R1-B, R2, R4, and R6), along with special provisions for building setbacks and lot configurations.
The proposal has received technical and public feedback, which will be reviewed during the meeting.
