When the puck drops at the Toonies for Tummies fundraiser in Waterford, five area schools will come out winners.
Event coordinator Alison Rossi explains the motivation behind the hockey happening.
The inaugural fundraiser last year brought in a lot of cash for snack programs at area schools.
So, with three games on tap this year, event organize Alison Rossi is confident of tripling the proceeds.
Admission is cheap, and you can enjoy great hockey while getting a chance to win some great prizes.
With that, they are actively looking for more draw prizes, and are asking anyone willing to make a donation to contact them.
Three games are on tap beginning at 2:30 p.m. on Saturday, Dec. 21 at the Waterford Tricenturena.
